cub scouts is an energetic five piece, based in brisbane, that has been crafting their own style of indie pop music over the last 18 months. their latest single, 'evie', is an exploration into new sounds and stories, and is the first single from an upcoming ep recorded with melbourne producer, john castle, which is due for release in early 2012. inspired by a dog [as is gotye's 'bronte'] and complete with steel drums, 'evie' is upbeat, colourful, charming, and sure to have you singing along before the song is over!
