a little lady person.

i tried to call a friend of mine a few times today/this evening. she was in her last week of pregnancy, and i wanted to touch base to see that everything was going great guns. we've known each other since we were twelve, and she is a very special person in my life.

there was no answer.

i started to get excited, thinking that perhaps there was a little person on their way; the friend in question usually returns the call. and just now i received a message to say that a little lady person had finally arrived.

so. i believe this makes me a [very excitable] honorary aunt.
